“From a Youtube video above, I had invited fans to contribute their own lyrics to the tune that I composed over the melody of P.Ramlee’s ‘Senjakala’.
We received over 300 entries and one entry that caught me was one that describes how helpless one is when his lover choose to be somebody inappropriate for her.
Faizal Maslan won the contest and I recorded with his lyrics. Later, we met during my album launch in Kuala Lumpur, in which I hope was the beginning of his songwriting career.”
